一、Raw material processing
1. Crushing: First, the collected straw is crushed, especially those with a moisture content higher than 15% and a size greater than 20mm, to ensure that it can smoothly enter the subsequent drying and carbonization process.
2. Drying: The crushed straw enters the dryer for drying to reduce its moisture content and improve carbonization efficiency. The dried straw should reach a certain dryness standard for better carbonization.
二、Carbonization process
1. Preheating the carbonization main furnace: Before the dried straw is fed into the carbonization main furnace, the carbonization main furnace needs to be preheated to ensure the smooth progress of the carbonization process.
2. Feed carbonization: After preheating, the dried straw is transported to the feeder through a conveyor belt, and then enters the carbonization main furnace for carbonization. During the carbonization process, the wood fibers in the straw are cracked at high temperature to form carbonized products. Taking straw as an example, the carbonization time is usually about 18-20 minutes.

三、By-product treatment
1. Combustible gas generation: During the straw carbonization process, a large amount of combustible gas will be generated. These combustible gases begin to be generated about 10 minutes after feeding, first entering the cyclone dust removal system for cleaning, desulfurization and dust removal, and then entering the condenser to be separated into wood vinegar and tar. Both of these by-products have high economic value and can be further processed and utilized.
2. Hot flue gas reuse: Part of the waste hot flue gas generated during the carbonization process can be used to heat the dryer to achieve energy recycling; the remaining flue gas is discharged after being treated by the dust removal system (such as water washing, water spraying, etc.) to reduce pollution to the environment.
四、Cooling and packaging
The straw charcoal after carbonization needs to be cooled to reduce its temperature and improve its stability. The cooled straw charcoal can be packaged and stored for subsequent sales and use.
